HOUSTON, June 28, 2017 -- Gerald Brisson, President of Transworld Business Advisors (TBA) of Houston, was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame. Induction into the TBA Hall of Fame is an honor reserved for Transworld Franchisees who have consistently achieved outstanding business sales, delivered exceptional client service, and exhibited leadership in the Business Brokerage community. Brisson explained, “Transworld has an outstanding team of over 140 franchisees located all around the world. To be singled out for this award is huge for me, a tremendous honor. At the same time, I understand that my success has been driven by my outstanding Houston Team.” Brisson is one of only two Transworld franchisees to ever be inducted.
Originally from Canada, Brisson grew up in an entrepreneurial household. He spent 30 years working for Texaco and Chevron in the energy industry. In a career spanning over 30 years, Brisson has held many titles and done business in more than 50 countries; learning a lot that contributes to his success today with TBA. From his role as International Marketing Director to his role as Global Supply Chain Director, his expertise is evident. However, upon joining TBA, he took additional courses to make sure he was able to support his clients fully. As a result, he achieved the following designations:

- Certified Business Intermediary
- Certified Mergers and Acquisitions Professional
- Mergers and Acquisitions Master Intermediary
Although it may not have been an obvious choice after retiring from Chevron, Brisson found that Business Brokerage was the best option for him. He says, “It leverages my 30 years of experience in Business Unit management, Global Marketing, and Strategic Procurement. Plus, I am very passionate about working with small and medium size business owners. I grew up with small business owner parents and worked with small business owners throughout my career.”
