“Gears of War 5” will be launch by The Coalition in September and prior to the release, the game developer wants the gamers to test it first, so the beta test version of the game was made available for downloads on Xbox One and PC. Through the test, players will see the new features, especially in the PvP or multiplayer gaming mode.
As previously revealed, there will be new maps in “Gears of War 5” in addition to the three multiplayer modes. The game is on its final stages of development, and the test is the last stage. The beta version is already live and ongoing so gamers can try it before it finally arrives in two months.
The three main PvP game modes
For the beta version gameplay of “Gears of War 5,” gamers can try three game modes such as the Arcade where the hero shooters can test out the unique abilities of each character in the game. In the King of Hill mode, this is the classic mode where the teams will fight to capture and hold points on the new maps while the Escalation mode where the players can team up to take down a base and escape together. Teamwork is the key in this mode for a successful play.
For a single-player game, a tutorial is offered in the beta test. This should teach the gamers about the controls, special features and details about the different weapons available in “Gears of War 5.”
Schedule of the test
The schedule for “Gears of War 5” beta test games have been divided into two batches. The first run has been set for July 19 to 22, and this ended already. The second round will begin on July 26 and end on July 29. Players can test the game starting at 10 a.m. and will end at 6 p.m.
Players should take note that there are system requirements for downloading and playing the “Gears of War 5” beta game. The Coalition listed all the details on its info page to make sure that the devices are compatible for the downloads.
“Gears of 5” will be officially out in the market on Sept.10.
