In terms of volatility risks, this week is light with the focus PMI numbers and U.S. payroll data,

What to watch for over the coming days:

Central Banks:

  • Several Fed speakers this week - Williams on Monday, Chair Powell, Evans, Bostic and Bowman on Tuesday, and Bullard on Friday.
  • Federal Reserve would release Beige Book report on Wednesday. 
  • Bank of England (BoE) Governor Mark Carney’s speech due on Tuesday.

Economic data:

  • China’s GDP, industrial production, and retail sales on Monday.
  • United Kingdom’s unemployment numbers on Tuesday, inflation report on Wednesday, and retail sales report on Thursday.
  • German ZEW survey report on Tuesday.
  • Eurozone CPI inflation report on Wednesday.
  • Canada CPI inflation report due on Wednesday.
  • Japan’s CPI inflation report on Thursday.

Geopolitics:

  • Guatemalan President to visit White House to discuss the migrant crisis at the Southern border.  
  • Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit the White House on Saturday.
  • The parliamentary election in Ukraine.
