New York, NY, June 20, 2017 – It has been 10 years since the iPhone launched and changed the way people interact with technology. To honor the impact of mobile on the health industry, ghg | greyhealth group, a full-service health advertising, branding and marketing agency, will be hosting an informative celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone, with the goal of sparking actionable ideas to enhance healthcare communications. The event will take place at ghg’s New York Headquarters on Thursday, June 29 from 2-6 P.M.
From high tech to health tech, and everything in between, this celebration will explore the ever-changing and meaningful role of technology in healthcare. ghg welcomes guests to an afternoon filled with interactive exhibits, an exclusive panel held by health tech experts, and a cocktail reception.
“The launch of the iPhone marked the beginning of an era, representing a revolutionary shift in the way people communicate and interact with each other, and the world around them. Aside from the fact that Apple has sold more than 1.2 billion iPhones and has become the most profitable public company in the world, it also revolutionized the way we think of and manage our health.[1] The iPhone truly has become the remote control for health,” said Erin Byrne, President, ghg NY. “We are excited to celebrate the advances made in health technology over the last ten years, while also looking forward to considering the impact of the future of health tech.”
The event will feature immersion sessions led by ghg’s experts along with industry technology leaders focusing on a range of health technologies. Joining ghg for the immersion sessions will be, among others, IBM Watson, the leading cognitive computing platform; Satisfi Labs, a context-aware AI engine; dotHealth, the new domain name extension for the health industry; and Practice Fusion, the #1 cloud-based electronic health record for doctors and patients. Other participants will be announced leading up to the event.
Attendees and the public can join the celebration by following ghg on Twitter at @greyhealth or through the event hashtag, #ghgtech.
