ATLANTA, March 10, 2016 -- The Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta) has approved a dividend at an annualized rate of 4.66 percent for the fourth quarter of 2015.
"FHLBank Atlanta’s board of directors and management are pleased with the solid financial performance of the Bank for 2015. Our commitment to returning shareholder value is demonstrated through a strong fourth quarter dividend," said FHLBank Atlanta Chair of the Board of Directors, Gary Garczynski.
The dividend rate is equal to average three-month LIBOR plus 4.25 percent for the period of October 1, 2015, to December 31, 2015. The dividend payout is applicable to capital stock held during that period. The dividend will be credited to shareholders’ daily investment accounts at the close of business on March 15, 2016.
