Eagan, MN, Aug. 01, 2017 -- SelectAccount, a leader in health care spending account administration, announced today that Eric Daniels has joined the company as senior vice president of carrier sales. Eric will be responsible for establishing and growing relationships with new health care insurance carriers to position SelectAccount as the preferred health care spending account administrator. Eric will report to Chief Growth Officer E. Craig Keohan.
Eric comes to SelectAccount with more than 20 years of successful leadership, management and executive sales experience. Prior to joining SelectAccount, Eric spent nearly 10 years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. During his tenure there, he worked extensively with other Blue Cross plans and led several collaborative responses on national account request for proposals (RFPs). He most recently served as the director of commercial markets sales, where he led new sales growth and client retention, margin contribution and overall performance for small group, Medicare and individual commercial segments.
Eric also served in the U.S. Navy, and is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He graduated from the Naval Leadership and Management program, and was awarded the Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Service Medal and NATO Service Medal.
