Eggo, a brand of frozen waffles owned by Kellanova, formerly known as the Kellogg Company, has built a real "pancake house" that people can stay in. The brand has aptly named the place the "Eggo House of Pancakes," located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
Eggo launched this pancake-inspired home rental to celebrate National Pancake Day, which falls on Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the United States. The company said the accommodation offers an unforgettable stay for fans who rent it.
Pancake-Themed Home Stay
As mentioned on RetailWire, the Eggo House of Pancakes sits in a scenic spot that overlooks the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas of Gatlinburg. Tennessee was selected because it is known as the Pancake Capital of the South.
The house offers a comfortable stay, and picturesque views will make the experience more memorable and breathtaking. The place is filled with Eggo's signature items; of course, it has been painted yellow.
How to Rent the Pancake House
The HomeToGo vacation rental platform manages the Eggo House; customers may make reservations through it. Guests will not find this accommodation on any other platforms as it is an exclusive offering via the said vacation rental company.
The booking process is fast and easy and will only take a few minutes. Guests will enjoy lovely breakfasts during their stay as the refrigerator is stocked with Eggo pancakes in different flavors.
Lastly, reservations will begin on the National Pancake, and the stay will cost just $0 per night. Bookings will continue throughout the weekends of March. The house can accommodate up to eight guests.
"Eggo and waffles are an iconic combination, so much so that fans might forget about our pancakes," Kellanova's senior director of marketing for frozen foods, Joe Beauprez, said in a press release. "That is why we're flipping our focus with this unexpected experience that celebrates Eggo pancakes as a breakfast go-to that's equally good at making parents' lives easier and making breakfast delicious."
He added, "Plus, we know that planning a family vacation can be chaotic, so we are helping parents check one more thing off their to-do list for spring break season with this deliciously fun house."
