SAN DIEGO, May 07, 2018 -- Ernst & Young LLP (EY) announced today the official relocation of its San Diego office into a new space on the 14th and 16th floors of Pacifica Tower, located at 4365 Executive Drive. The new office provides a range of work settings and advanced technologies to enhance the flexible work culture at EY, allow for headcount growth, and continue to attract the best talent in San Diego.
“Our new San Diego office focuses on bringing our professionals more opportunities for collaboration, flexibility and innovation,” said EY San Diego Office Managing Partner Robert Bruning. “We want our people to feel inspired by their work environment and to be able to continue to provide our clients with the exceptional service we are known for here in San Diego and around the world.”
The new San Diego office comprises approximately 27,642 square feet of office space on two floors, including 141 tech-enhanced workspaces, 24 collaboration rooms, seven meeting rooms, two multi-purpose centers for dining and entertainment, and 72 sit-to-stand workstations. Among the new office features is a wellness center, which includes unique furniture design elements, created to provide EY professionals with a location to recharge while enjoying a view of the ocean. The 16th floor elevator lobby features a floor-to-ceiling image showcasing the San Diego skyline. The color scheme and design features were selected to create a working environment that embodies San Diego’s natural beauty and relaxed culture.
The San Diego office is part of the EY@Work initiative, emphasizing EY’s dedication to offering energizing and efficient environments for its workforce. EY believes that providing its people more choice in where, when and how work gets done allows them to better deliver exceptional client service, whether individually or as part of a team, and better supports their well-being. The EY San Diego office is among several others on the West Coast to transition to the EY@Work environment, which has been rolled out to hundreds of EY locations worldwide.
