• Stick to the three D’s of protection:
  - Drain: Mosquitoes need standing water to breed, so drain all of the surrounding water around your house and yard.
  - Dress: Mosquitoes are more attracted to darker colors, so opt for light-colored clothing that also provides coverage (such as
  long sleeves and pants instead of shorts).
  - Defend: Try natural alternatives to chemicals and pesticides, which provide adequate defense without harmful toxins.
• Get them while they’re young: The best strategy for combating mosquito proliferation is to get them while they’re young. Pest control solutions provide the greatest effectiveness if they also target mosquito larvae, as they are concentrated, immobile, and easily accessible.
