AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 28, 2017 -- DoubleHorn, an Austin-based cloud solutions provider and services broker, today announced the release of the DoubleHorn Marketplace, an interactive pricing tool designed to provide transparency and eliminate guesswork when developing a customized quote for cloud services. The Marketplace will go live on the DoubleHorn website December 1, 2017.
Powered by DoubleHorn’s Platform, the Marketplace is a cost estimation tool designed to help understand pricing models and enabling users to compare services solely based on price. Visitors to the site will be able to input information specific to their needs and receive instant options customized to the services they require without committing to a contract or purchase.
“We are continually creating tools for our customers to navigate the increasingly complex cloud space and feel strongly that transparent pricing is something that all visitors to our website should have access to whether or not they are customers,” said Tab Schadt, CEO of DoubleHorn.
Visitors to the DoubleHorn website are able to utilize the interactive Marketplace to develop their own quote for cloud services by inputting details specific to their personal or business needs. The cost estimation tool provides a realistic projected expenditure for provisioning a particular service and provides an outline of the specifications of each service along with the estimated monthly expense. This custom report can be downloaded into a PDF.
Platform by DoubleHorn allows the management of cloud assets across providers with one unified portal. Clients build with a custom design tool for all the common cloud use cases then compare features and costs between different products from cloud providers. They then have access to a secure method for purchasing and provisioning services with the ability to monitor with real-time metrics and alerts. Clients can also control usage including starting, stopping, scheduling and terminating services from a single location to optimize cost savings.
