Donald Trump shockingly blamed the Barack Obama administration for his failure to provide enough coronavirus test kits.

On Wednesday, the POTUS met with representatives from the airline industry. During their meeting, the president said that he thinks it’s safe to fly because they have already closed down certain sections of the world.

“We’re talking about small numbers. For the most part, the media has treated us very fairly, which I appreciate,” he said.

The POTUS also shared some helpful tips on how to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, which includes the regular washing of hands, good sanitation, and more. But it is what he said afterward the shocked the nation especially since he once again blamed Obama for his own mistake.

“The Obama administration made a decision on testing that turned out to be very detrimental to what we’re doing, and we undid that decision a few days ago so that testing can take place in a much more accurate and rapid fashion,” he said.

Journalist Aaron Rupar was shocked by what Trump said and wondered what exactly was he talking about. However, it is important to note that this isn’t the first time that the POTUS put the blame on Michelle Obama’s husband.

“Trump is blaming Obama for his own incompetence. Are you kidding me?” Twitter user @David_Leavitt said.

“So, is he saying he forgot he dismantled Obama’s response team, cut funding for CDC and closed response centers in other countries that would have slowed or even stopped the spread we had the testing centers and test kits, Trump closed them. Guess he forgot but we remember,” Twitter user @lafindumonde said.

“Deeeeeeeep State stuff here. In 2008, Obama operatives set forth a plan to ruin Trump’s plans to test for a yet public virus in order to thwart his presidency,” Twitter user @themitchellfink said.
