In a fiery statement posted on social media, political figure Sammi accused Democrats of resorting to extreme measures to influence elections, referencing a recent incident in which her August event with Roger Stone was secretly recorded. The revelations have sparked outrage among her supporters, with Sammi calling out political operatives for attempting to use underhanded tactics to undermine her.
Sammi took to Twitter to reveal that Brian Welsh, a political advisor for Stormy Daniels and a long-time Democratic operative, attended her private Florida event using an alias to secretly record the proceedings. The footage was later shared with Rolling Stone and liberal documentarian Lauren Windsor, according to Sammi, who claims the incident is part of a larger Democratic strategy to twist narratives in their favor.
"The Democrats will go through any length to win elections even when it is not true," Sammi declared in her post. She emphasized the event was private and ticketed, making the secret recording both illegal and unethical under Florida's strict two-party consent laws.
Sammi expressed her frustration, noting that the recording even captured private conversations between attendees, which she says violated the trust of those present. "Bearing in mind it was a private, ticketed event—audio was recorded secretly with a device that even captured private conversations with private citizens in a privately owned venue," she wrote.
The event, which featured former Trump advisor Roger Stone, had heightened security due to a recent assassination attempt on Trump. Sammi mentioned that their primary concern at the time was violence, not political espionage. The presence of sheriff’s deputies and private security, however, did not prevent the covert recording of the gathering.
Sammi’s frustration was clear as she referenced the footage itself, stating that Welsh—who was behind the secret recording—admitted on camera that he was not involved in any political campaigns. "Even on the footage, he admits he’s not working the campaign," Sammi pointed out, further questioning the purpose of the espionage.
In a scathing rebuke, she also took aim at the Democratic Party, alleging that they didn’t even democratically elect their own nominee, adding, "It’s not shocking because they didn’t even democratically elect their nominee. See you peacefully at the ballot box."
The controversy surrounding the incident has sparked intense reactions online, with many of Sammi’s followers rallying to her defense. Some expressed outrage over the tactics employed by Welsh and Windsor, while others called for legal action given Florida's consent laws.
Despite the political firestorm, Sammi remains resolute in her message, calling for peaceful participation in the upcoming elections. "Remember that at the ballot box," she urged her supporters, vowing to continue her political fight.
