NEW YORK, Nov. 02, 2017 -- JLT Specialty USA, a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc. (JLT), one of the world’s leading speciality risk advisors and brokers, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Vendetti as Director.
The appointment is part of JLT’s continued investment into our construction specialty further supporting JLT’s partnership with Construction Risk Partners (CRP) in January 2017. JLT is committed to building market leading teams to provide clients with an unmatched specialized capability and expertise within their specialty areas.
Based in New York, Vendetti brings over 11 years of experience in Construction Risk Management to JLT’s Construction practice. Vendetti will join the CRP leadership team with the responsibility of assisting in the continued growth of the business. He will primarily focus on business development, managing existing client relationships, and assist in growing the CRP team. Most recently, Vendetti served as SVP for Starr Companies. Vendetti managed the Primary Construction, Environmental, and Transportation divisions, where his management responsibilities included, but weren’t limited to; growth, client relationships, P&L’s, and employee development. Vendetti launched Starr’s Primary Construction Division in 2010 and continued running the division until joining CRP. Prior to Starr Companies, Vendetti underwrote in the Primary Construction unit at AIG, focusing on National Wrap Ups and National Construction Clients.
