SXSW Childfinder Hackathon
The Cloudera Cares team, in partnership with The National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Intel will be kicking off a month long virtual hackathon at SXSW. The hackathon will focus on finding innovative ways to scrape the public web for information on how to locate missing children. Specifically, hackathon participants will be working on finding data pertaining to missing children in the Austin area.

Smart City Day at SXSW
Cloudera is a community sponsor of Smart City Day at SXSW, presented by US Ignite, Glasshouse Policy and Digi.City. The day will encompass a series of 10-minute 'lightning’ talks from smart city leaders from around the world including mayors, city technology and innovation officers, startups and community advocates.

SXSW Panel: AI for Good: Harnessing Power to Solve Problems
Through artificial intelligence we have an opportunity to recognize patterns and extract meaning from massive volumes of data and use those insights to solve the world’s most critical social issues.
