‘Boruto’ chapter 44: Koji Kashin attacks Jigen, Momoshiki starting to take over Boruto?

‘Boruto’ chapter 44 is definitely one exciting manga installment that fans shouldn’t miss. It seems that all is not well within Kara organization and a change in leadership just might happen soon. Meanwhile, the recent chapter suggests the danger that Boruto is currently in due to Karma.

Being Kara’s leader, Jigen is indeed very powerful. But going against Naruto and Sasuke simultaneously was no walk in the park even for him. While he managed to seal Naruto inside a kettle-like jar, the fight against the two Konoha warriors wore him out, which just might spell his doom in “Boruto” chapter 44.

Bent on killing Jigen, Koji Kasin has been biding his time and has been patiently waiting for the Kara leader's return. He surmised that while Jigen will eventually become the victor in his fight against the Hokage, doing so would exhaust him greatly, which would be the perfect opportunity to make his move. That chance is finally happening in “Boruto” 44.

In the recently released “Boruto” chapter 43, Jigen was seen returning to Kara’s base where he met with Amado. “Jigen is recharging in the back,” Amado informed him. “He hasn’t even regained 10 percent.”

After also learning that both Code and Boro are not present at the moment, Koji decided to make his move. “Yeah, I’m taking him down,” he replied when asked by Amado if he is going to do it.

It looks like “Boruto” chapter 44 might see a rare fight between two strong fighters from Kara. While Koji appears to have the upper hand, it’s not yet clear if he will be successful in killing Jigen. After all, Jigen just might have an ace hidden up his sleeve, something that might allow him to escape and live to fight another day.

Meanwhile, the recent chapter also highlighted the danger Boruto is in because of Karma. As Boro rampaged due to his anger due to Sarada destroying his core, Boruto’s Karma kicked in.

But Team 7 members were worried at what they’ve observed. Boruto became a totally different person and even looked down on Boro. “Don’t get cocky, you inferior creature,” he told Boro.

What got his friends worried was that Boruto totally forgot what happened. Sarada came to realize that Karma might be more dangerous than they previously thought. Is Momoshiki slowly turning Boruto to become his vessel?

“Boruto” chapter 44 releases on March 30, 2020. Stay tuned for more updates.
