Featuring dual Intel® Xeon® processors (up to 44 cores/88 threads) and the most expansion slots of any professional workstation, APEXX 5 can be configured with up to five dual-width, full-length graphics cards and a single-width graphics card for incomparable display arrays. A hot swap drive cage accommodates up to eight 2.5 inch drives, while internally, the system houses up to five 3.5 inch drives or twelve 2.5 inch drives. APEXX 5 is ideal for GPU rendering in V-Ray® RT, NVIDIA® Iray®, Octane Render, or other professional rendering and simulation software.
Inside their booth, Vizrt, a leading provider of virtual sets and augmented reality technology, will employ the all-new, customized APEXX 5R workstation (a re-engineered, rack-mounted version featuring four NVIDIA M6000 graphics cards and a Matrox Xmio3/6/550 video card) to demo advanced augmented reality systems featuring a 7.2 meter LED video wall. Elsewhere, Ardis Technologies' Dynamic Drive Pool booth # SL8505 will host an APEXX 4 7601 featuring an Intel Xeon processor and NVIDIA Quadro GPU, while Berlin-based Spin Digital, developers of high-performance video codecs, will present 8K video demos at their booth #SU15211 using a dual Intel Xeon APEXX 4 7901 equipped with two NVIDIA Quadro graphics cards. Also, directly adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center inside the Presidential Suite of the Renaissance Hotel, BOXX strategic partners CineSys Oceana will rely on an APEXX 5 workstation to demonstrate advanced Autodesk visual effects finishing software.
