Associa Hawaii Leads Fundraiser Event for Shriners Hospitals for Children® - Honolulu

Honolulu, HI, July 07, 2017 -- Associa Hawaii, the leading local community management company, organized an annual golf tournament fundraiser to benefit the Honolulu Shriners Hospital & Associa Cares. 

Associa Hawaii teamed up with the Kapolei Golf Club to host the tournament. This year, 200 golfers from around the state joined local sponsors such as DK Painting, Hawaii Bio-Waste, Guild Mortgage Hawaii and Seal Masters of Hawaii to raise $100,000.

The money raised will help Hawaiian children who need orthopedic and neurological services at Shriners Hospital. One of the patients benefiting from the tournament is fourteen-year-old Ashley Eiden, who was a guest speaker at the event and wowed the crowd with her inspirational speech. Ms. Eiden was diagnosed with rapidly progressing scoliosis. The orthopedic condition is a curvature of the spine, but thanks to surgery at the Honolulu hospital, she is standing tall and back to her normal activities.
