COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Sept. 27, 2016 -- Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, announced today the implementation of FireLightⓇ e-application solution for Ash Brokerage Corporation, the largest independently owned insurance brokerage general agency in the United States. FireLight provides Ash Brokerage the flexibility to customize and manage its annuity platform to meet individual firm needs while delivering a resourceful sales tool that simplifies and expedites the electronic application process for advisors.
After performing a full evaluation of order entry options, Ash Brokerage selected FireLight for its adaptability to unique business requirements, ability to incorporate broker-dealer processes and review queues, carrier support model with form accuracy and familiarity, and ease of administration.
Beyond system capabilities, Insurance Technologies provided Ash Brokerage partner support to meet its strategic goals and successfully implement the solution that seamlessly integrated into its business model.
FireLight provides functionality that aligns with Ash Brokerage’s forward-looking strategies on managing requirements and supporting their advisors through the sales process as the new U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) rules are implemented.
“Advisors need solutions that make doing business easier, especially as new regulations complicate our industry,” explained Mike McGlothlin, executive vice president of annuities at Ash Brokerage. “FireLight is an innovative tool that supports our efforts to provide efficient, compliant and secure processes that enhance the advisor’s business and their clients’ experience. We’re pleased to offer this solution as part of our strategy to help advisors succeed in a post-DOL world.”
Advisors will access FireLight through the Ash Brokerage advisor website with single sign-on, simplifying the access so they can capture and submit annuity business for multiple carriers. By adding FireLight to its Advisor Toolbox, Ash Brokerage expands its offering of high-level support, expertise, innovation and technology.
“We are very excited to have established a partnership with Ash Brokerage,” said Steven Acosta, vice president of sales for distributors, Insurance Technologies. “FireLight provides them a flexible and customized platform that enhances their existing processes and provides their advisors with a user-friendly annuity sales solution. We are also pleased to be part of their DOL workflow strategy.”
