The Apple Watch Series 3 took the center stage in Apple’s recently released “Close Your Rings” video advertisements. Coincidentally, limited-time deals are giving consumers more reason to purchase Apple’s latest smartwatch, thanks to Best Buy discounts that cut off $50 from the regular price.
Obviously, Apple wants to convince people to be more physically active on a regular basis. And its “Close Your Rings” ad campaign trying to show consumers how the Apple Watch Series 3 can motivate them to move more by actually closing the Move and Exercise Rings on the smartwatch.
The rings, which are features available on the Apple Watch Series 3, help users track their exercise or even simple movements such as walking. The ring represents how far an Apple Watch user is from their weekly goals in fitness activities.
Three videos for the “Close Your Rings” ad campaign have been released, which all feature the Apple Watch Series 3. However, Apple is evidently trying to show current and future Apple Watch users that achieving their weekly goals is possible even with different kinds of lifestyle.
All the videos also feature real-life Apple Watch Series 3 users. First, there is Atilla, who uses the device mostly for fitness activities like running and playing sports.
Another video features Yocelin, who also has regular sports activities like playing basketball and yoga. But her video ad also shows that the Apple Watch tracks movements and updates the rings even when casually dancing with friends.
Then there is Eric who, unlike Atilla and Yocelin, has different ways to stay active. He was not shown in intensive running sessions or sports but he still manages to close his Apple Watch Series 3 rings by regularly walking his dog, going on bike rides, hanging out with friends, and going to the market.
Apple’s “Close Your Rings” ads might do the job of convincing potential new buyers of the Apple Watch Series 3. But sometimes the higher price point of Apple products could be a barrier.
Luckily, Wareable reports that Best Buy is offering various Apple Watch Series 3 models and configurations all with a $50 discount. For example, people can get the 38mm model with GPS and cellular support for only $349 instead of the regular price of $399.
