FORT WORTH, Texas, March 18, 2016 -- American Airlines and the Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 549 have reached a tentative agreement on a new joint collective bargaining agreement for Dispatchers and Operational Specialists.
"Our Dispatchers and Ops Specialists play a critical role in our airline and today’s tentative agreement represents a significant step in the integration process,” said Lorne Cass, vice president, Integrated Operations Center. “We would like to thank TWU Local 549 for their professionalism at the bargaining table, and to both negotiating teams for their dedication and hard work toward reaching an agreement."
The TWU Local 549 will share details of the tentative agreement directly to the membership in the coming weeks.
