Apple is launching its new AirPods 2 and many sources claimed that the Bluetooth earbuds are coming with new features to provide more functions for users. With the added specifications, the small device will not be for simple listening anymore but it will have more purpose

The AirPods 2 was reported to come in two colors now with the addition of the black option. And of course, it will come with a wireless charging case as well. The new coating of the earbuds will allow better grip and minimize slips.

According to MySmartPrice, in terms of appearance, the AirPods 2 looks exactly like the original AirPods and only the matte coating is different. For the internal aspects of the device, the upgrades include better audio quality with improved bass and built-in Siri.

Apple Insider further revealed that AirPods 2 will offer a new feature for health. It will have a heart rate monitoring function that will be readable through the Apple smartwatch or the mobile phone. What’s more, the battery life will last longer and this is a good feature to avoid hassles and inconvenience of having to recharge often when in use.

It was said that the health monitor function in AirPods 2 has been added after thorough research. Apple reportedly hired experts and launch several studies to determine the benefits of in-ear health devices.

Price

The new Apple AirPods 2 will arrive with a higher selling price. Based on reports, it will have almost $50 price difference since the first types were launched at $159 in the U.S. while the upgraded ones are expected to be sold more or less $200. Finally, it should be noted that while MySmartPrice usually reveals accurate details about upcoming Apple products, the features mentioned here for AirPods 2 has yet to be officially confirmed by the American tech giant.
