In an innovative fusion of fashion and technology, Adidas is partnering with renowned Web3 artist Fewocious for the release of their limited edition 'Trefoil Flower' NFTs. The new collection includes Adidas Originals Campus 00s sneakers, with a physical pair accompanying every virtual token.
Adidas and Fewocious are set to unleash limited edition NFTs, and 4,500 are expected to be made available for minting. They have named the collection “Trefoil Flower” and will feature an exciting new sneaker design, and the best thing about the collaborative release is the fact that a physical sneaker will come with a virtual token.
According to The Crypto Times, Adidas and Fewocious will drop the 4,500 NFT Trefoil Flower mint passes. These will be available for purchase starting June 22, and fans can head to the OpenSea marketplace, which has been assigned as the exclusive outlet for the sale.
The said virtual mint pass will give holders exclusive access to the site so they can retrieve their pair of specially designed and crafted Adidas Originals Campus 00s sneakers. Then in August, by choosing to burn the purchased NFT, holders will receive the physical version of the shoes as the virtual toke is permanently destroyed. Adidas said shipments of the real Adidas Originals Campus 00s pair of sneakers would start in September.
“Working with Adidas is a real dream come true. I can’t believe I was painting Adidas shoes in my bedroom by myself four years ago and now I get to officially collaborate with them!” Fewocious said in a statement on his milestone team-up with the global shoe brand. “This is one of the longest projects I’ve ever worked on and keeping things a secret is so hard I just want to scream it from the rooftops! I really believe in the future of fashion and footwear and the intersection of digital and physical, and I am so excited for these to see the world and for everyone to be part of that journey with me.”
