CHALFONT, Pa., March 10, 2016 -- Email marketing industry leader, AWeber, was presented with a Gold Stevie® for best Business Service Industry - Contact Center of the Year, in the tenth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
"It's an honor to be recognized, let alone win gold. We have a core passion for developing personal partnerships with our customers and helping them grow their businesses through email marketing," said AWeber's Director of Customer Solutions, Chris Henrich. "This award serves as a further affirmation that our philosophy at AWeber drives success."
The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world's top sales awards, business development awards, contact center awards, and customer service awards. The Stevie Awards also organizes several of the world's other leading business awards programs including the prestigious American Business AwardsSM and International Business AwardsSM.
More than 2,100 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were evaluated in this year's competition, an increase of 11% since 2015. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 115 professionals worldwide, filling the roles of preliminary judges. Entries were considered in 59 categories for customer service and contact center achievements, including Contact Center of the Year and multiple other categories recognizing new products, services and solution providers.
"Entries to the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service continue to grow every year, further validating the essential roles that business development, customer service, and sales play in business success," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. "The widespread support for this program made the 2016 competition that much more intense among finalists. The judges were deeply impressed by the winners' accomplishments, and we congratulate all of the winners on their commitment to excellence and innovation."
During final judging, earlier this month, specialized judging committees of more than 60 members were selected to participate in seven teams that determined the final Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the finalists. The awards were then presented to winners at a special event in Las Vegas last week, where more than 500 executives from the U.S. and several other nations gathered to honor the best in class.
"Being recognized alongside many other industry leaders who are well known for their remarkable service to their customers, is simply flattering," said Jordan Premick, AWeber's Customer Solutions Supervisor. "We're passionate about taking care of our customers who use our email marketing software, and winning this award confirms that it shows."
