United for Human Rights (UHR) and Youth for Human Rights (YHR)
UHR and YHR are non-profit organizations that assist and unite individuals, educators, organizations and governmental bodies at all levels around the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). They distribute educational materials including booklets on the 30 articles of the UDHR, a video entitled "The Story of Human Rights" and an educator's guide with a lesson plan on each article. The materials are used in schools, churches, and various civic groups to educate children and adults about human rights. UHR and YHR work to implement and protect those rights. These materials are created in collaboration with the Human Rights Department of the Church of Scientology International. L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology inspired the movement saying, "Human Rights must be made a fact, not an idealistic dream."
