5 STARR Salon and Spa Announces Sponsorship of the OWR Annual Golf Outing

GROVE CITY, Ohio, June 15, 2017 -- Kirsten Bailey and her 5 STARR Salon and Spa have announced their co-sponsorship and participation in the upcoming OWR Annual Golf Outing, which is a fundraiser for the Ohio Women's Refuge. This year's Outing is taking place at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City on Monday, June 19 from 12:00 PM through 7:00 PM. Registration covers all golf-related fees as well as lunch and dinner.

The Ohio Women's Refuge (OWR) provides residency for those escaping human trafficking. This gives victims a chance to obtain much-needed counseling and begin recovering from the trauma they have endured. In order to fund these operations, the organization holds a variety of special events. These events include the Annual Golf Outing, which provides participants with a full day of golf, lunch, and dinner in exchange for their support.

"We are proud to help OWR by co-sponsoring this event as well as with our participation. Their program directly helps women who have been victims of sex trafficking. Events like this help fund their resource-intensive programs and also help to raise awareness of the problem and spur efforts to end these crimes. We believe it is very important to support OWR's efforts," said Kirsten Bailey, owner of 5 STARR Salon and Spa.

This event is open to registration for members of the public, and it may be done by visiting OWR's page at https://www.ohiowomensrefuge.org/events/ and navigating to the registration form. Individual golfers may register for $175, two golfers can register for $350, and three golfers for $525. A foursome costs $650. Of course, supporters of OWR are also able to make donations at any time, even without participating in this event.
