‘NCIS Los Angeles’ Season 10 Spoilers, Cast, Death: TVLine Reveals Harrowing First Look Following Last Season's Cliffhanger

“NCIS Los Angeles” Season 10 is going to have a tense first episode as TVLine – the show’s mother network – recently tweeted a worrying scene. In it, Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) can be seen with blood running down her face and standing before an unconscious or dead Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).

The finale of the previous installment saw Kensi, Deeks, Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) getting their SUV destroyed by a missile. After the blast, the show just faded to black and a “to be continued” text appeared on the screen, leaving fans worried that at least one of the four isn’t coming back in “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 10.

The first episode is ominously titled “To Live and Die in Mexico,” hinting that the possibility of one major character will be saying goodbye in “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 10 is still on the table. However, based on the logline for the upcoming season, it’s likely that all four will survive, although Deeks will have to do some heavy recuperating before he can get back on his feet.

“Gravely injured and unable to communicate with the team in the U.S., Callen, Sam, and Kensi, with an unconscious Deeks in tow, search for a safe way home as the Mexican Cartel places a ‘dead or alive’ bounty on their heads,” the logline describes. It goes without saying that it’s going to be quite the task for the trio to find a way to escape given they’re going to be lugging Deeks around with the cartel hot on their heels.

Of course, there’s always Sam and his reliable strength but it would still take at least two people to carry the unconscious agent with them. And given that they’re still reeling from the explosion that destroyed their SUV, it’s still unclear how exactly the team will plan their escape. “NCIS Los Angeles” Season 10 is scheduled to premiere on Sept. 30, 9:30 p.m.
