I am Lecturer at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Honorary Fellow at the University of Melbourne. My research lies at the intersection of computational and social sciences and contributes to the discipline of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
My research focuses on social technologies for healthy living. I have examined how people collaborate through social media to pursue their passions and exchange support to quit smoking. My current work aims to support people to manage their health and well-being in collaboration with family members, caregivers, nurses, therapists, or clinicians. I am interested in harnessing data from wearable and mobile applications to support healthy sleep and stroke rehabilitation.
