Matthew is a Research Fellow at St Vincent's Hospital. He works as a Palliative Medicine Physician at St Vincent's and Cabrini Hospitals. He is a lecturer at Monash University for clinical medical students, and post-graduate courses in Palliative Care.
He is currently involved in research examining the attitudes surrounding morphine use in cancer care, examining issues around communication, decision making and end of life ethics. Areas of interest involve health practice ethics, end of life care, psycho-oncology, and the relationship between primary and palliative care.
