Kristy Langerman is a senior lecturer in the Department of Geography, Environmental Management and Energy Studies at the University of Johannesburg. She holds a PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research focuses on air quality, transport and the environmental impacts of energy use. She is the Director of the Joint Research Centre for Smart Mobility and Climate Change at the University of Johannesburg, and is an editor of the Clean Air Journal.
