Robbie Moore is a Lecturer in English at the University of Tasmania. His research focusses on space and place in late-Victorian and modernist literature and culture, and particularly on the emergence of new forms of urban development and urban experience. His book, Hotel Modernity: Corporate Space in Literature and Film, is forthcoming from Edinburgh University Press.
