Professor of Education and Pro-Vice-Provost: Digital Education, UCL
As Pro-Vice-Provost: Digital Education, Norbert works closely with the Vice-Provost Education and Student Affairs on UCL-wide initiatives, in particular on academic oversight of digital education across the university. He is currently centrally involved in COVID-related planning at UCL around the notion of Connected Learning.
Until recently, Norbert was Pro-Director: Teaching, Quality and Learning Innovation at the UCL Institute of Education. In that role, Norbert had overall strategic responsibility for the IOE's teaching and learning portfolio comprising a large teacher education, undergraduate and postgraduate taught portfolio, leading change, managing quality and supporting innovation.
Norbert also was Vice-Dean: Enterprise for the IOE and he actively contributes to a number of large-scale international teacher education and development projects.
