She holds a Masters in Economics and Finance from Sciences Po (Paris, France) as well as an MPhil in Sustainable Development Planning and Management from Stellenbosch University (South Africa). Prior to engaging in academic research, she worked as an entrepreneur and consultant for 15 years.
