Deputy Head of Department (Finance, Accounting and Business Systems), Sheffield Hallam University
I have a pedigree of academic leadership in a wide range of Finance, Accounting, Business Systems and Management areas at Sheffield Hallam University and International partners.
My research interests are focused in the areas of Information Systems in Business, Project Management and Education. I have published in these areas through case studies, books and book chapters, journal papers and conference papers.
My teaching leadership is proven in the UK and internationally. My teaching practice and impact have been recognized by Advance HE (formerly Higher Education Academy) and I am now a Senior Fellow.
Cybercrime is my “flagship” teaching area and I take an applied approach to this by using current news items and practical examples. I have taught in this area internationally (Malaysia, Finland, Hong Kong, China, Botswana). I appear on various media outlets and I have regular contributions in areas of business-related interest (e.g. Cybercrime, Brexit).
