Neel obtained his PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick with a focus on behavioural economics. His current research interests span a number of areas from experimental economics, economic psychology, consumer behaviour, and judgement and decision making, to health, well-being and, personality. He also has a background in mathematics and a strong interest in computing and technology.
Prior to joining the University of Leeds, Neel has been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Exeter, and taught at the University of Warwick.
