Fans immediately assumed that “Val x Love” season 2 will be renewed since the story is not yet complete. The first season ended in December last year but unfortunately, there is still no update with regards to the production of the second installment.
There is no announcement as of this time but there are lots of theories and assumptions about “Val x Love” season 2. While fans wait for some good news, below are some predictions and details to think about.
The finale
The first season of “Val x Love” concluded on a happy note since all the Valkyries are alive and they were able to defeat the akumas or monsters. Also, Takuma, the chosen lover of the nine daughters of god Odin, was also healed from his condition where he is scared of people. What’s more, his serious and diligent attitude with studying paid off as he emerged as the top student after their final exams.
The finale also showed a new side of the former “alone and scaredy-cat” Takuma as he has become more confident after learning about his powers and what he can do. He was able to save the Earth together with the Valkyries and he turned out to be a very brave young man when he saved Mina’s soul alone.
Since the ending is like this, many fans are looking forward to “Val x Love” season 2 because they want to see Takuma growing up into something else since he has just discovered that he is special. The Valkyries too - they may have more work to do now since the monsters want revenge from their defeat.
The theories
In case, “Val x Love” season 2 will be approved and produced, it will surely continue from the point when they are getting ready for another possible attack. They will work together again to save the world for the second wave of attacks from the monsters who vowed to take revenge.
Takuma may also fall in love but it is uncertain which of the Valkyries he will choose. Perhaps, it is also possible that he will have his eyes on someone who’s human? But then, that will be a big issue since he has been the designated lover of the valkyries and he must do his duties well which include loving them all.
Finally, the renewal announcement must come first but there is a suggestion that “Val x Love” season 2 will not happen anymore. The Cinemaholic stated that it is not returning as the first season was only made as a means to promote the manga version.
