“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 15 is coming up next after a week of delay. Since there is no broadcast last week, it seems that History is merging both episodes 14 and 15, so there will be more information to be revealed.

Previously in episode 13 titled “Bromancing the Stones” showed the Lagina brothers and their team getting back to work after Hurricane Dorian hit the island. They drained parts of the swamp where they were digging before the storm hit, and after the clearing, they were surprised at the rock formation because it was so leveled.

A Geologists who was called on the site also said that he could not come up with any reason as to how those rocks could have gathered there, so they have come to believe that it was a pathway that was created a centuries ago. This discovery also led to the conclusion that the swamp was indeed man-made.

The search for the 90-feet stone that mysteriously disappeared

The team is also looking for the legendary 90-feet stone that is believed to have inscriptions that will point to the Money Pit. The other theory is that a note on how to shut down the flooding tunnel that was fixed with a trap to stop treasure hunters from finding the treasures.

Rick traveled to the Dartmouth Heritage Museum, and they dug at the building’s backyard, but after hours of digging, they did not find anything and concluded it is not there. Despite this, Rick Lagina said that they will not give up and find that olive-colored stone.

The swamp and shaft 12

In any case, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 15 has been titled the “Burnt Offering,” and as posted on History, its official synopsis reads: “Hard evidence suggests that Fred Nolan's theory that a ship was buried in the swamp centuries ago, may be true.”

It is a short description, but it already says a lot. It seems that the more they dig around the swamp, the more it appears to look like Nolan is correct in his assumption that the swamp was made to conceal the treasures below, tucked in a sunken ship.

It can be recalled that at the end of season 6, the team found an anomaly on the floor of the swamp, and it's the size of a ship. The data is starting to fit, so the team is excited to investigate more as they are getting closer to their goal of finding the valuables and reveal a history that comes with it.

The lot 16

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 15 also revealed a stunning discovery at lot 16. In the preview, David Blankenship, Gary Drayton, and the Lagina brothers checked out lot 16, and through the metal detector, they found two coins.

They said that they are English coin since they have King Charles II’s face, plus the word “Carolus” was inscribed, which is the Latin word for Charles. The dates are also clearly engraved with one coin bearing the date 1673 and the other 1694.

With this new find, they are convinced that French activity on the island started way early and 120 years before the Money Pit was discovered. They said that it could be true that the pirates have been frequenting the Oak Island many centuries ago.

“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 15 is set to air on Feb. 25 at 9 p.m. on History.
