History finally revealed the first look at “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6. The mention of a new technology and their first gold stand out in the official trailer.
Brothers Marty and Rick Lagina will be seen back on Oak Island in Nova Scotia, Canada to continue digging for valuable artifacts. The preview for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is promising an exciting installment with the mention of the first-ever discovery of gold on the show.
In one scene, Marty says in a meeting with their crew that they have unearthed their first gold from Oak Island. It is not clear in the trailer whether or not this discovery was directly made possible by the new technology they will be seen using in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6.
Talking about the new tech, Rick calls it a “game changer” in the “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 trailer. Fans will have to wait for the new episodes to see what this technology actually is and how it works.

However, the brief teaser for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 hinted that the new tech allowed the Lagina brothers and their crew to “look underground in the Money Pit.” This is another “for the first time” milestone on the show.
Aside from the first gold dug up from the Money Pit, discoveries featured in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 are still tightly under wraps. But another certain topic to be discussed in the upcoming episodes is an artifact found in season 5.
Earlier this year, executive producer Kevin Burns confirmed that they did some testing on the suspected Knights Templar cross found last season. Results of the said tests will be most likely discussed in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6, which will premiere on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 9 p.m. ET.
