“The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 11 is going to be one confusing and tension-filled story to follow as Red (James Spader) is scheduled to be executed. Of course, given that Reddington is the main character of the series, it’s unlikely that he will be killed off, Business Times reported.
What makes the “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 11 interesting is how the Concierge of Crime is going to wiggle out of his current predicament. This crime-drama series has already established that Red will always get what he wants. Most of the time, anyway.
The previous release saw Red failing to escape prison – a rare occurrence for someone who always seems in control. “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 11 looks to remedy that situation although everyone, even hardcore fans, are at a loss what exactly is Red planning and how he’s going to pull it off.
The synopsis for “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 11 hints that Liz (Megan Boone) will be attempting to stop an international assassination that might pull Red out of the hole he’s currently in. Most of the fans aren’t too happy with how the showrunners handled Liz this installment as her allegiance towards Red appeared hastily written.
Indeed, her newfound fervor to save Red’s life has taken new heights after hearing that her mom framed the original Reddington for treason. But it’s not only Liz that’s prepared to help Red escape the lethal injection. The trailer for “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 11 also got Cooper (Harry Lennix) trying to pull every string he can to help Red, even going so far as to appeal his case to the White House.
This hints that Red might avoid his death sentence when the POTUS steps in and pardons him of all the crimes he’s committed over the years. Exciting as this may be, the conclusion of “The Blacklist” Season 6 Episode 11 is expected to be another cliffhanger as it’s a two-part story. As for its release date, NBC has scheduled it to drop on March 15.
