Ahead of “The Bachelor” Season 21 finale, many are wondering whether alum Nick Viall will finally find love in the franchise with either Raven, the 25-year-old boutique owner from Arkansas, or Vanessa, the 29-year-old special education teacher from Canada.
But before anything else, Clay Skipper for GQ said people should need to understand WHO Nick is first to understand his choice in the season finale. He writes, “From what I can tell, Nick, a man who looks like the love child of Ryan Reynolds and an in-shape teddy bear, likes to wear sweaters, drink out of mugs, and have conversations near fireplaces. He seems like a mostly alright dude whose favorite album is probably not an album but the film “Road to Red Rocks: Mumford & Sons.” Twice before he has been on the cusp of proposing as a final contestant on “The Bachelorette.” Both times he was rejected. The Milwaukee native's heart is likely confused, as knotted up as a balloon animal. What Nick, a guy who probably sits in the front row of SoulCycle class, really needs is a rock, someone who not only knows what she wants, but knows it so certainly that she'll watch “Road to Red Rocks: Mumford & Sons” if it means getting it.”
Although Nick wasted no time getting to know the women this season, fans will never forget his interactions with this season’s most memorable candidate, Corinne, PEOPLE reported. Corinne has managed to upstage every other girl in the show with her antics, her lines, and her capacity to become one of TV’s reality television villains.
However, Corinne eventually saw the end of her stint with the series, leaving Raven and Vanessa in the running. But popular opinion favors Raven, and if it’s based on Vanessa's unwillingness to move away from her family in Canada, Cara Kelly for USA Today believes that Raven will most likely end up with the Neil Land diamond. But if Nick needs an older, mature person, Vanessa should be the obvious choice.
"The Bachelor" finale airs Monday at night, to be followed by "After the Final Rose" special, both on ABC.
