It appears that Nick Viall is getting exhausted in his quest for true love.
In the latest season of “The Bachelor,” fans saw Nick broke down in tears following the eliminations of Jasmine, Whitney and Danielle. In a People.com recap, the breakdown happened following a disastrous date with with Rachel, Raven, Vanessa, Corinne, Danielle M. and Jasmine. The date, which started out as a fun game of three-on-three beach volleyball, turned ugly when Corrine got wasted, Jasmine appearing to be over with the date, and every other girl crying in a corner exhausted for trying to get Nick’s attention. If you’re in a reality tv date drama, obviously, you’d think the girls already understood what the stakes are. But Aurelie Corinthios postulates that the stress of playing good while looking great in a bikini for the cameras might have taken a toll.
Vanessa said to the cameras, "I thought this entire date was just going to be fun and relaxed, but at the same time, how can my relationship get to another level when all Nick is experiencing is me being competitive at a volleyball game. I'm just fed up with it. I'm fed up with having to compete for time, I'm fed up with having to get his attention."
His Two-On-One with Whitney and Danielle later on had Nick questioning his reasons for participating in the show, Samantha Highfill for Entertainment Weekly reports. Following his talk with (and letting go of) Whitney and Danielle, Nick barged in the women’s hotel suite and had a tearful breakdown, asking what if he was the one with the problem, and not the girls? After all, HIghfill pointed out that Nick went on four dating shows already, and has not been successful in finding love (by reality TV standards, of course).
“He explains that he was really optimistic about Danielle, but after today, he’s hit a new low. His biggest fear is that the same thing will happen with the remaining women: His love for them will eventually fall flat. He wants it to work, but he’s terrified that it’s not going to, so he leaves,” Highfill wrote.
But if there’s one thing that’s constant in the show is that Nick appears to be fixated with Corinne, show be damned. TMZ said that despite Taylor revealing all of Corinne’s backstabbing and lies following the former’s boot, Nick appears to have acknowledged Taylor’s advice… and then made out with Corinne after.
