The matter of a Taylor Swift, Adele collaboration in creating a new song has been a hot one of late due to the reports that the two superstar songstresses will be working together. However, this cooperation will not extend to them creating a new song together. This would be impossible anyway since they are completely incompatible, so collaboration is simply not going to work for these two singers.
As Gossip Cop reports, a new false story about a new Taylor Swift, Adele song has made it on the web courtesy of Perez Hilton. The report made some frankly spectacular claims that would not be odd to feature in a movie, at all. It mostly relied on hearsays to come up with the conclusion, though, including those that read, “eyewitness spotted tons of Adele’s recording equipment being delivered to Swift’s home for the hangout.”
“We love the idea of them working together,” the outlet writes. “Taylor and Adele need to drop new music NOW!”
From this point on, it is worth pointing out that nothing concrete has been provided with regards to the supposed Taylor Swift, Adele collaboration that is allegedly going on. Everything that was posted and circulated is a product of rumors and conjectures. In this particular case, for example, there has not been one quote or comment from anyone with official authority to discuss matters related to the singers.
In point of fact, there is no Taylor Swift, Adele song in the works. Neither spent any time in each other’s apartments with musical instruments in tow. People close to the pair have already said as much, thus debunking many of the rumors surrounding them.
What’s more, a Taylor Swift, Adele collaboration would be a bad idea, in the first place. In terms of style, range, demographic, and genre, the two are simply far too incompatible. Sia and Adele make more sense. The same goes for Swift and Miley Cyrus. Professionals like them would know not to try and make a combination work that was never going to.
