‘Sword Art Online’ Season 3 Episode 25 Release Date, Spoilers: Alice to Rally Human Empire to Push Back Upcoming Threat

“Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 25 is still six months away as the animation studio handling its production is still hard at work in polishing the second cour. This isn’t surprising given that the “War of Underworld” arc will be featured next.

Billed as one of the most gripping and heart-pounding storylines in the entire series, the upcoming conflict will have the Human Empire take on the full brunt of the Underworld forces. “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 25 will be kick-starting this plotline, although it will not hit the ground running.

Instead, it’s expected that Kirito will be doing a bit of recuperating in the beginning, with his convalescence overseen by Alice. As such, “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 25 could start by having both characters visit Rulid Village, a place where Alice grew up on.

Meanwhile, it’s expected that the story will be shifting back in the real world and update viewers what’s been happening following the events that occurred in Ocean Turtle. Sinon – an integral character in the upcoming arc – will be going against a player named Subtilizer during the Bullets to Bullets tournament. And speaking of the outside world, “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 25 could hint at the fact that Kirito’s life may be in danger as someone is planning to kill the main protagonist while he’s stuck in virtual reality.

With the looming threat of the Underworld forces and the mysterious figure wanting to harm Kirito, it appears that the beta tester will be facing a two-pronged threat in the second cour. In the meantime, Alice will be the one to rally the forces of the Human Empire in an attempt to weather the tides of war. With the help of Kirito, both characters will take center stage once more as they collide with the upcoming violent host. As for when “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 25, it’s been slated for release on Oct. 5.
