'Sword Art Online' Season 3 Episode 14 Air Date, Spoilers: Eugeo & Kirito Face Strongest Opponent So Far

Sword Art Online: Alicization.Galo AMV/YouTube

In the previous episode of the anime, it was revealed how the Administrator gave birth to Cardinal and the ensuing conflict that began as a result of it. There are a lot of things that need unwrapping there, but the main point is that Eugeo and Kirito are now working together with the program to end tyranny. In “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 14, the pair will be facing their strongest opponent, so far.

As TheAnimeScrolls notes, “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 14 is going to be titled “The Crimson Knight.” This refers to an Integrity Knight that Kirito and Eugeo will encounter in Central Cathedral as they go to retrieve their weapons under the direction of Cardinal. The knight’s name is Deusolbert Synthesis Seven and from the clip below, it would seem that he is quite the dangerous foe.

Even with the two fighting together and with real weapons, no less, the young swordsmen appear to be having trouble dealing with the armored opponent who can fire arrows without moving. It’s safe to assume that Kirito and Eugeo are going to defeat him in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 14 since this will advance the story. However, they are going to have to go through hell before doing so.

Afterward, the pair is expected to extract information from the knight with regards to Central Cathedral in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 14. It would seem that they will not kill Deusolbert Synthesis Seven after defeating him, which makes sense. As viewers should know by now, the Integrity Knights are essentially victims whom the Administrator kidnapped. Their memories have been manipulated, as well, to make them forget their previous identities.

“Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 14 will be dropping on Jan. 12. Fans will not have to wait long to watch one of the most epic fights in the anime so far.
