“Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 13 is the first episode of the season’s finale. As fans of this anime already know, it will be the continuation of the “Ray of Light” episode that aired in December. This is a much-awaited story because it will show what happens to Alice after she was caught by Vecta.
“Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 13 is also expected to highlight the war between the American players and the human empire led by the warriors Renly, Bercouli, Sheyta and Asuna. More villains may come to the underworld and they need more hands so they can beat the invaders. Below are two major things to look forward to in the upcoming part two of the season’s finale.
Japanese players involvement
When the American players were dispatched to kill the human empire and even the pugilists, the warriors of the human empire were already trying to convince the Japanese players to help them. They are appealing for assistance because they are clearly outnumbered as more villainous players are being sent to the underworld to annihilate everything on their path. It is yet to see in “Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 13 if the leaders will finally agree to help.
Alice and Kirito
Based on the preview for episode 13, Kirito has finally returned after a long time of unconsciousness. With him in the team, his superpowers will bring great damage to the opponent and perhaps, Vecta will face him soon.
The warriors already admitted that Kirito is their only chance to win in the brutal fight so this is the time that they have been waiting for. He has arrived at the right time and Alice will surely be saved in “Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 13 so they can work together with Asuna.
Airdate
“Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 13 was supposed to premiere on April 25 but it was moved to July. As posted on the anime’s Facebook page, there is no exact date yet as of this time. On Twitter, Reki Kawahara, the anime’s author stated on April 10 that the rescheduling was to ensure the safe working conditions of the voice actors.
