Suntory Spirits’ latest release takes their popular canned Jim Beam Highball and loads it with a kick of Pink Grapefruit for a carbonated whisky drink with a surprising citrus twist.
The new ready-to-drink cocktail combines the classic flavor of Jim Beam bourbon with the juicy aroma of pink grapefruit to come up with a for late spring and summer.
The drink will be available throughout Japan beginning May 10, priced at 160 yen for 350ml cans with 5 percent alcohol.
Canned cocktails, particularly chu-hai, are quite popular in Japan. Strong Zero, a fan favorite of chu-hai lovers, even has a version made to be paired with fried chicken.
