Next month will mark exactly one year when fans last saw “Stranger Things.” Since it has been a long time already, their anticipation and excitement for the fourth installment are just increasing by the minute.

The show was supposed to be in the middle of filming right now, but the schedules have been changed due to the on-going coronavirus crisis. While the U.S. is still dealing with the pandemic, another dilemma is gripping the country as the protest against injustice and violence deepens.

Filming update

It is clear that with the current issues, filming for “Stranger Things” season 4 will further be delayed. Originally, the filming is expected to wrap up in August as the cast and crew already started the shoot earlier this year. The production works were halted in March, and there is still no update when the filming is set to resume.

The team is making sure that everyone on the set will be safe and protected when they all return to work. The bosses are taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety of the cast and crew.

Stunt coordinator dropped hints on what to expect in the next “Stranger Things” installment

Hiro Koda, the stunt coordinator of this series, was interviewed recently, and he revealed some spoilers during the discussion. He was asked what can be expected in “Stranger Things” season 4 and when the filming would resume.

"All I can tell you is that season four is... It's darker. It's going to be epic,” he told Comic Book. “There are lots of great surprises and all your favorite people are in it and it's going to be so good.”

He went on to say that he already went through eight scripts of “Stranger Things” season 4, and all he could say is that “it’s pretty awesome.” As for the filming, Koda said he doesn’t have an idea when they will be called back to work. He said that the team is still trying to figure out when they can film again.

Spoiler - Dr. Brenner’s faith

As per Express, one of the viewers theorized that Eleven will get her telekinetic power back. However, this will also kill Dr. Brenner. The publication reported that on Reddit where the theory was posted, a fan said that the doctor will lose his life when he was helping to restore Eleven’s powers.

Some fans thought Dr, Brenner already died in season 1 but the Redditor opined, he may still be alive and he’s the only one who can help Eleven in “Stranger Things” season 4. Finally, with the delayed filming, the earliest possible date of this series’ release is in 2021.
