What has life been up to with our gorgeous yet equally clever girls? As the midseason finale of Pretty Little Liars ended up with a bang, as always, the girls are set to return soon as they welcome a new chapter in their lives.
After five long months of waiting for the next episode, fans all over the world will get to finally see the Liars again with a twist! The upcoming episode is expected to showcase the Liars as they fast forward into the future living their new lives separate from each other.
We will get to see Aria (Lucy Hale), Alison (Sasha Pieterse), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) in a more mature, older look. After uncovering the truth behind the real identity of "A", the girls will have lived separately now with their new lives but a situation will come to Rosewood that will come knocking on their doors forcing them to come back and reunite. So what could that situation be?
While we know that CeCe (Vanessa Ray) is locked up and secured in a mental institution, unable to do crazy stuff, it is rumored that another character will take over and make the lives of the Liars hell again. And according to the show's executive producer, Marlene King, this new character will be "much worse than the previous one". Exciting!
The team is keeping mum though on who will play the new character but expect that this character will be a bad ass who is going to kill people to get answers. I am pretty sure that all you fans out there are as excited than ever so tune in to ABC as Pretty Little Liars return on January 12.
