Sonic Debuts Witch's Brew Slush Float, Featuring Green Apple and Caramel Bubbles for Halloween
Sonic is gearing up for a spooky season with a witchy twist. The fast-food chain has unveiled a new addition to its menu just in time for Halloween: the Witch's Brew Slush Float. This seasonal treat features a green apple-flavored slush base filled with salted caramel bubbles, topped with soft serve, and an extra helping of bubbles. Prices for the medium size start at $4.
Set to join Sonic’s Flavorista Favorites premium drink lineup on September 30, the BRAT-green float will be offered alongside popular items like the Grape Escape, Classic Cruiser, and Lemonade Cream Cooler.
Sonic's app offers early access to the Witch's Brew Slush Float for those eager to try the Halloween-inspired drink. The apple-flavored float will be available at participating Sonic locations until November 3 or while supplies last.
Sonic's Witch's Brew Slush Float Offers a Unique Halloween Twist on Classic Fall Flavors
In a press release, Mackenzie Gibson, Sonic's executive, described the Witch's Brew Slush Float as “a twist on a caramel apple that stands out from the crowd with its unique blend of seasonal flavors and textures.” Gibson added that the creation captures the essence of Halloween and delivers a “hauntingly good” experience.
While many restaurant chains embrace fall with pumpkin-flavored offerings, Sonic is among the first to launch a Halloween-themed menu item. Chipotle, however, has introduced Halloween costumes in partnership with Spirit Halloween. The fast-casual brand offers five different Chipotle-themed bodysuits for $40 each, representing various elements of the dining experience, including its black plastic forks, paper napkins, water cups, foil-wrapped burritos, and branded to-go bags.
The costumes are available online through Spirit Halloween in adult sizes from small to extra-large. Select stores like Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, and Egg Harbor Township in New Jersey will also carry them in-store.
