Song Joong Ki spent quality time with his family not long ago. Since people can’t travel these days due to COVID-19, the actor and his family just rented out a villa in Namhae, South Korea. Simply put, it was a staycation and photos revealed he had a good time with his parents, brother, sister, sister-in-law and nephew.
Details of Joong Ki’s trip
The Independent reported that Song Joong Ki booked a luxury villa at The South Cape Spa & Suite located in Namhae, in the South Gyeongsang province. This is one of the best golf course sites in the country and offers many amenities for a luxurious experience plus a spectacular view.
South Cape is a non-membership golf course resort that is open to anyone. They accept reservations but apparently, it is not cheap. As per The Korea Herald, visitors can expect world-class services, amenities and more, at the price of a foreign deluxe hotel but it was reported that Song Joong Ki’s suite cost around KRW 10 million or US$8,425 per night.
This is such a hefty sum but the visitors are guaranteed security, privacy and top-class services.
Song Hye Kyo’s ex-husband’s visit to this place was revealed after his brother posted photos and videos of their getaway on his Instagram.
Fans comment on Joong Ki’s bonding with his nephew
In one of the pictures, Song Joong Ki was shown playing lego with his nephew and fans commented that this is such a warming photo to see. They said that the doting uncle seems to be obsessed with his brother’s son and they look adorable.
There is also a video that shows the “Space Sweepers” actor riding something like a hoverboard but with a small car attached and his nephew was in it. Fans could not help but comment that Song Joong Ki will indeed be a good dad in the future.
Upcoming movie
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki’s “Space Sweepers” movie had to be delayed due to the surge of COVID cases in South Korea. There is no new release date yet as of this time. He is also set to return to Colombia next year to finish filming his other film called “Bogota.”
