Skepta and PUMA's latest collaboration, the Skepta x PUMA Forever DSM collection, will debut in June 2024, featuring a unique olive green PUMA Skope.
Skepta's Fashion Influence Extends Beyond Music
In the early 2000s, British rapper Skepta captivated fans with his dynamic tunes and socially concerned lyrics.
He has a wide-ranging influence that goes beyond the realm of music, including fashion and collaborations with leading businesses. Following a string of successful collaborations with Nike, Skepta has now joined forces with PUMA to create the Skepta x PUMA Forever collection.
In the month of May, Skepta presented the results of his collaboration with PUMA. He introduced the PUMA Skope, which featured a significant number of the same design decisions that characterized his time spent working for Nike.
New Olive Green Colorway Exclusively at DSM
Despite the fact that it was an instant sell-out prospect, there was very little information available about a subsequent colorway up until this point. A new collaboration between the Boy Better Know boss and Dover Street Market has resulted in the release of an olive green shade that will be available exclusively through the retailer situated in England.
Per sneakernews.com, a more reptile appearance is achieved by the second edition of Skepta shoes, in contrast to the all-black original. The upper's reflective leather stays put but takes on an emerald hue, while the mesh beneath it gets the same treatment.
This sneaker stays firmly planted on solid ground thanks to its edges, which is mostly dressed in monotone black and white. Without the shimmering leather to detract, the sole that extends onto the toe-box and heel of the Skepta PUMA Skope arguably becomes the shoe's most eye-catching feature on this particular iteration.
There is precedence and synergy in this team-up, despite the fact that it does not appear to be a true collaboration between the two organisations. By way of his MAINS streetwear label, Skepta collaborated with DSM to create a genuine one just a year ago. This collaboration resulted in the creation of a co-branded apparel item.
June 15th Launch at Dover Street Market
On June 15th, Sole Retriever shares that you'll be able to get your hands on the PUMA Skope Forever at any of Dover Street Market's international stores or online. Although the exact pricing is yet unknown, we may assume that these will sell for roughly $200, which is the suggested retail price of the original hue.
